The Martial Arts are about more than learning how to kick above your head or break a board with your fist. Especially in our early youth it is important to learn the concepts of boundaries, discipline, work ethic, respect for others, and social interaction. Equally important is learning the joy of exercise.
Kids & Youth Karate classes are an introduction to the Martial Arts for children aged 5 – 11. The majority of this class focuses on the intangibles of the Martial Arts that are an important foundation for any budding, future Martial Arts superstar. Your child will learn how to punch and kick, but they will also be a part of an ongoing process of learning important life and social concepts that will serve them as they grow.
They will also learn how to exercise properly including stretching and basic full body strengthening that is safe for children and teaches them that exercising can be fun too.
